Health and Well-Being
In its simplest form, focusing on health and well-being means ensuring our communities have access to the basic necessities of life, including healthy food choices. Beyond that, there are many areas requiring attention and support to ensure that people in our communities are mentally, physically and socially well, and living disease-free.
To that end, The Rhema Foundation Canada is working to raise awareness about the health and well-being gaps in our communities, and to educate and engage society so those gaps are filled and needs are met.
What does this mean? Everything from community kitchens, to recreational programs for kids, to space for youth to hang out after school, to mental health resources for our most vulnerable. We are surrounded by so many in need, that when it comes to support, the sky is truly the limit.
